"Do thyself no harm for we are all here" (Acts 16:28).

This Scripture was read at Mass today, Tuesday of the sixth week of Easter.  It is the theme line for the Lifeline Against Suicide Team because we are praying that people will not commit suicide because they know that we are all here supporting them with our prayers and love.

We are also praying for the souls of those who have made this great mistake that each of them will be open to the Loving Mercy of Jesus Christ and be saved.  Many of them may be in Purgatory and need our prayers so that they may enter Heaven.

Lastly, we pray for the families of those suffering because of a loved one's suicide.  We ask God the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of consolation, to fill them with hope in the Infinite Mercy of our Beloved God.
